Using this as a pre-treat for acne

Since I do have burgeoning acne on my nose, I am using this to see if it backs that acne off the same way the store bought brands that are heavy on the salicylic acid do.
I actually like the smell of this...its quite muted, and it goes away quickly - much better than any of the mediciney smells of similar products.
